![]() ![]() This is the first book in Garwood’s Crown Spies series that focuses on the men (and in a few cases, women) that worked for British Intelligence in the late early 1800’s.Īlexander Michael Phillips, the Marquess of Lyonswood (“Lyon” to those who know him), is retiring from working for the government after many years of service to the crown. Review #2 The Lion’s Lady audiobook Series Shifters Unbound I can see me reading this again in the future. I’ve read this book at least 4 times throughout the years and it’s just as great this last time. This book has a lot of action and doesn’t spend that much time on inner monologue, which I appreciate. Their love and attraction for each other is easy to see and feel throughout the book. Lyon is such a strong alpha male who treats her very well and you can see how much she affected him and how much he cared about her right from the beginning. I like that she is strong and very capable and compassionate. Their attraction for each other was there right from the start. Some of the things she does and say are fitting as an American Indian but not an English woman in the early 1800’s. ![]() She met Lyon right in the first chapter and it’s been exciting ever since. She grew up with the American Indians and eventually returned England. Christina is such an interesting heroine. This is a great book full of funny moments, sweet moments and action. ![]()
